Oh my gosh. I have allergies and am so pleased when I was told about this product. I got it for 1/2 the price it is in the store and couldn't beat the "free shipping." I have a golden retriever and it really helps to get rid of her fur, especially all the dandruff from her winter coat. I was amazed the first day of all the hair I removed. I've had my eye on the Furminator for a few months now. I ordered it once my vet recommended it as a solution to the shedding problem. I've only had it one day, but it's change my cat situation in a very positive way!
My two cats shed so much. Every time I pet them there's dead fur in the air and wherever they sit. After a few brushings with this comb, the flying fur is gone. This makes having my cats on my lap, my desk or in my bed even more of a pleasure.
The first few brushings left me with a huge amount of dead hair. It was like having a third cat. Strangely, my cats didn't look any different. But it was great knowing all that hair was gone. They really seem to like when I use the Furminator, especially if I use my other hand to scratch their face. It's a win-win deal.
